#1 - Welcome to the Academy
Galen receives an email from a school called Academy of Expedient Art to join them for their grand re-opening. When he arrives at the Academy, he realizes it is abandoned and haunted by ghosts. He meets a possessed pumpkin, Cornwallis Capricorn, the original dean and professor of the Academy. He and his staff died in a tragic fire in the 1960's, ending Capricorn's chances of creating the next generation of visual artists. Now several years later, he has recruited Galen to reboot their Academy by participating in 5 timed drawing challenges. These challenges are designed by Capricorn to test Galen on his time management skills to prepare for the final season of "Cosmic Design Show" in the Fall of 2025!
#3 - The Big Meltdown
In this episode, Galen is offered additional time by participating in a mini-game called 'Tic Tac Bonus' against Capricorn himself. Afterwards, he is given his 2nd challenge assignment to draw a cartoon character with exaggerated features and emotions. If he wins this challenge, Galen will be able to add acrylic markers to his supply list for the finale!
#5 - A Still-Life Disaster
In this episode, Galen picks between two race cars to determine what twist he will face in the 4th Gauntlet round. Will he gain 3 minutes of challenge time, or will he have to draw in total darkness? After the mini-game, Galen will be tasked to paint a still-life object to the best of his abilities. Winning this challenge could be hugely beneficial to Galen's final challenge. He could win a ruler to use and 1 extra minute in the final challenge. However, if he loses, Galen could face a double disadvantage!
#2 - The Tzu-Nami
Capricorn has designed a 4-part Gauntlet series in order for Galen to win prizes and supplies for his final project at the end of the season! For this first challenge, Galen plays a mini-game to decide the theme. He selected "Animal Mashup Mayhem" which challenges him to draw a cartoon character combining two different animals. Galen selected a Shih Tzu dog and a Shark for his cartoon. Capricorn reveals that he only has 10 minutes to draw this on a 5x7 inch canvas, and this will be the same size and time limit for every challenge of the Gauntlet series. In the finale, Galen only has a canvas and pencil to use currently. If Galen wins challenge 1, he will be able to add oil pastels to his supply list!
#4 - Floral Precision
In this episode, Galen plays a mini game called 'Punch The Zombie' to determine which flower he will use as a subject in the 3rd Gauntlet round. In this Gauntlet round, he must draw his subject within 10 minutes in order to add charcoal pencils to his supply list for the finale!
#6 - The Final Countdown
In this episode, Galen plays Professor Capricorn in a classic game of Pong. Will he gain 2 minutes of challenge time, or will he face another devastating disadvantage? After the mini-game, Galen will be tasked to paint a cityscape and starry night sky on an 8x10 inch canvas. If Galen wins the final assignment, he will win an advantage to be used on the 5th season of Cosmic Design Show later this summer. If he loses, he will have failed his first course at the Academy!
