EPISODE 7 - "DESTINATION: PARADISE"
Inspired by Season 6
Materials: Acrylic/oil paint, metallic ink pens, acrylic markers, & a 16x20 inch canvas
PROJECT 8 - THE RESULT:

Painted with acrylic and drawn with ink, this piece is called “Destination: Paradise.” This composition showcases a colorful community interconnected together with each other and with their environment. There are people scattered throughout the composition, each one is colored blue, red, and black, to signify that no matter what color, age, political party, or religion you represent, the community doesn't thrive unless we are connected at the heart. Each line corresponds to the compassion each person has for another and for the nature around them. This composition can also be flipped upside down to reveal three characters unconnected, looking up and reflecting back at their community, wondering what if things were different. Could our community truly be paradise?
EPISODE 8 - "2 BIRDS WITH 1 CANVAS"
Inspired by Season 7's
Viewer Challenges
Materials: Acrylic/oil paint, acrylic markers, & 16x20 inch canvas

EPISODE 9 - "THE GLOWING EMBERS"
Redemption Challenge from
Season 8
Materials: Acrylic/oil paint, acrylic markers, & 16x20 inch canvas
PROJECT 10 - THE RESULT:

Painted with acrylic and oil paints, this piece is called 'The Glowing Embers' which is also known as Hydrangea macrophylla. I wanted to take on this Season 8 challenge of exotic plants and try a different subject. I also wanted to approach the composition a little bit differently by using up most of the space and keeping things simple and elegant.
EPISODE 10 - "FACE-OFF AT THE FALLS"
Inspired by Season 9's PNW landscape challenges
